BM really isn't even suitable to be a captain nor emperor, she just makes a mess out of things and her children fix it. Katakuri on the other hand cares for his siblings, and is strong and dependable :)

If this much of One Piece didn't already make you consider antagonists as potential future allies, then Idk what you've been watching so far.
Crocodile, Pekoms, Pudding, Cavendish, Buggy, Bon Clay, Mr. 3 and tons more. They were all out to kill Luffy at some point and yet became allies later on. Please calm down and enjoy the show.

yeah I agree, but sometimes even antagonists are likable in some way, like when Mochi guy told Luffy "I'm not underestimating you", but too bad for him, Luffy already went through something similar with Crocodile and Doflamingo, so he actually was underestimating him

Dw by the end of this fight you will understand why he's likeable. I'm pretty sure 'Ya Ya' has watched this fight already since not many likeable characteristics have appeared for Katakuri.
But nevertheless continue watching the series and you will see why he is a likeable character.

I would say he`s one of the strongest antagonists but the best I think soo far is Doflamingo. Katakuri is just protecting his teritory meanwhile Doflamingo`s plan was to destroy the world, and he manipulated people

I personally prefer Doflamingo. He is my mental picture of pure evil borm from unjust treatment and a former figure head in the underworld. Katakuri just seems like he fights out of obligation to his mother or for close family. He is stronger than mingo tho

The other BM pirates are scum but Katakuri is one of the only reasonable one out of all of them. Him, Smoothie, and Pudding are the only reasonable ones... that is if you take away pudding's double face

Tbh BM pirates aren't that bad, Big mom did swore to protect fishman island and many other territories. Even the citizens in her kingdom seem pretty happy and they have alot of diversity too, all they ask is for a small part of their soul for security and meet their sweets quota

nobody talk about luffys last words to the crew before he break the last piece of the mirror, he make it sound cheerful to make the crew doesnt drop their morale. luffy has really grown as a captain.

yeah same. We were told that he learned observation haki by rayleigh however i dont think we have yet seen observation haki's usage aside from usopp and fujitora ever since the post time skip began

There was that one instant when they were still on Sanji's wedding venue. It's nothing special, they just showed Luffy's eyes blinked a red color and the Observation haki sound effect. I only remembered it because it's rare seeing Luffy use it.
